OUR STORY

KRAZY NETZ was originally started by a basketball enthusiast from Kansas. The idea of team-themed colored nets was born when he needed to replace the worn basketball net on the hoop in his driveway. It was a weathered, frayed, dirty white nylon net and had seen a lot of action over the years from his five children. Being a loyal supporter and Kansas State University Wildcat fan, he wanted a purple net hanging from his home goalpost.  After experimenting with literally dozens of dyes and coloring processes, he perfected the right mix of K-State Purple dye and married it to the braided nylon. He then added the Kansas State University Powercat patch to the front.  Since that time, many nets with collegiate licenses and their unique colors and logos have been developed.   

As of December 2013, Krazy Netz is operated by the management group of GPP Sports Group, LLC of Leawood KS. GPP Sports Group is an experienced group of marketing, technology, and sports gurus.  Our unique dye and logo attaching process was patented and all relevant logos and images trademarked.   We have continued to expand the number of colored nets available.  

Our Dual-colored custom orderable and Playerz Nets became available late 2020.  Both items offer an industry unique item that can be personalized for any player’s court.    In 2021, Krazy Netz was joined forces with our newly launched patch division to form Krazy Netz & Patchez.  Embroidered patches are available for over 75 teams, all four branches of the military, and various organizations.  The second quarter 2023 will usher in a heavily refreshed website and the ability to order custom designed patches.
