Vanderbilt University Commodores Embroidered Patch Size is 3.5" in Diameter. Available as a sew-on with iron-on, adhesive hook & loop (VELCRO® Brand backing), and peel-n-stick backings available. Complete instructions provided for each backing type. Iron-on, VELCRO® Brand, and Peel-n-Stick orders (unless ordered PRIORITY or EXPRESS) should allow 1 business day before shipping as each backing is hand applied.

PATCH BACKINGS EXPLAINED:

Sew-on Backing is perhaps the best way to adhere patches to any fabric and can be uséd for any wearable item indoors and out. Completely waterproof and is only subject to the strength of the thread uséd to sew the patch. This style of backing is permanent.

Iron-on Backing is perfect for most light to medium weight fabrics that can withstand pressurized iron heat applied. Not recommended for fabrics that are constantly subjected to water or heavy outdoor use. This backing is permanent depending on use and regularity of washing.

Peel-n-Stick Backing is perfect for fabrics as well as other surfaces (wood, metal, etc.). This backing does not require any ironing, but is only a semi-permanent backing and may come loose over an extended period of time (dependent on washing and surface type).

VELCRO® Brand Backing (Adhesive Hook & Loop) will adhere to almost any surface. It is completely weatherproof and offers the flexibility of easy removal and re-application on to the surface. We utilize and industrial strength glue backing to ensure adhesion.

SHIPPING NOTE: All patch orders shipped via our FREE SHIPPING offer are sent via USPS First Class Letter Service. Although the USPS issues tracking numbers for these shipment, they are not trackable until after delivery. Typical shipping times are between 2 and 5 business days. Patch orders will arrive in standard business size 9"x 4" envelopes that can often be confuséd as "junk mail." Our envelope labels clearly state that this is a patch order. USPS PRIORITY and EXPRESS shipping options are also available. All orders of 10 or more patches will automatically be shipped via USPS Priority.
